Distinctive Landscape Design

Design begins with listening—about how you live, what you value, and how you want your outdoor spaces to feel now and in the future.

Soft romantic plantings and precise hardscape in Georgetown, DC

Who We Are

I create landscapes that are personal, functional, sustainable, and deeply connected to their surroundings.

I founded my practice in 2011 to offer a hands-on, transparent experience. With a background in landscape design and botany—and a lifelong love of art and plants—I bring both creativity, horticultural knowledge, and technical expertise to every project.

I strive to be an excellent listener, communicator, and advocate, and to keep projects organized and enjoyable from start to finish. I collaborate closely with trusted contractors throughout New England and the DC/MD/VA region, ensuring smooth installation and exceptional workmanship.

Whether it’s a townhouse courtyard, multi-functional city back yard, or a waterfront or woodland escape, each design is tailored to the site, the ecology, and the way you live. I maintain a clear process from design through installation, and keep in touch with clients and their gardens well after the garden is "finished".

If this sounds like the design process you're looking for, let's connect!
